Block & Tablet Salt
Water softener salt
Salt is required for your water softener to treat hard water. Ultrapure stocks both tablet salt and block salt. The form of salt that you will require will depend on the type of water softener. All salt sold by Ultrapure is food grade and we supply customers in St Ives, Ely, Huntingdon, and Cambridgeshire.
Tablet salt
Salt is compacted into tablets of approximately 1.5cm in diameter. Ultrapure sell 25kg bags of tablet salt with a minimum order to be delivered of 6 bags.

Block salt
Salt is compacted into 4kg blocks (approximately the size of a house brick). The blocks are sold in packs of 2 with a minimum order to be delivered from Ultrapure of 6 packs. Block salt machines are becoming increasingly popular as the salt itself is easy to carry, store and load into the machine meaning mess is kept to a minimum.
